After weeks on end of revealing the scheduled performers at the 2015 edition of Tomorrowland, it seems the list of the first phase of artists is finally complete. Organizers of the event released a single name per day; a process which took a considerable amount of time to complete. Big and small names alike were leaked one by one via the festival’s social media accounts with huge names such as Sven Vath, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and Grammy award winner Tiesto getting a lot of attention though some of the names didn’t come as a surprise since they appear at the festival regularly, and for good reason; they bring the fire every time they hit the stage.
Names such as Sir Bob Cornelius Rufio stand out from the list due to his soon to be released EP ‘SBCR & Friends, Vol. 1’ and the impressive sets he has put on in the recent past. He’s also a relative newcomer at the Tomorrowland Festival which is usually an exciting thing. The Symphony of Unity is another name which has caused a lot of excitement among those following the festival.
Tomorrowland has become the world’s most sought after music festival of its kind and the announcement of the artist lineup can give you a clue as to to why that’s the case. They’ve made a number of changes in this year’s edition including an all-vinyl stage.
When tickets went of sale, this year’s edition of the festival sold out in a mere 7 minutes! That’s faster than Coachella which broke it’s ticket sales record this own record when it sold out in less than 40 minutes. So chances are if you haven’t already bought your tickets for Tomorrowland you won’t be able to, unless you buy them off of someone who for some reason won’t be able to make it to the festival, but you need to be careful not to be conned if you do try to take this route. Other people buy the tickets just to resell them at a much steeper price, but again you need to be VERY careful if you decide to buy from another individual as this is a common scam so you might end up losing your hard-earned money.
Worry not though, if you can’t make it to Belgium for the festival you can always attend its sister show TomorrowWorld which will be held in the city of Atlanta, USA from Friday the 25th to Sunday the 27th of September 2015. Though it’s not the same it is still a damn good festival and the creators are the same so you should expect a slightly similar, top-notch experience. You can buy tickets on their website. You’d better hurry though because some of the ticket types are completely sold out while others are almost sold out.
A teaser video was also released along with the complete list of Tomorrowland 2015 performers and it can be viewed in the YouTube clip below. The festival organizers have promised that more performers will be announced soon so keep your eyes open for that news right here on Global Sound Authority. In the meantime you can view the poster containing the entire list of phase 1 performers at the bottom of the page. The list has also been typed out below just in case you can’t see the poster clearly.
