GRiZ Releases New Single From Upcoming Album ‘Say It Loud’

Live-2

Electronic music seems to continue to grow every day and with that growth we’re seeing more and more young artists experimenting and innovating in very interesting ways. One of those people leading the pack in a new generation of EDM is Detroit’s own GRiZ who recently announced that he will be releasing his brand new album in March this year. The album, which is titled Say It Loud will be released as a free download. What a treat. The announcement was made via GRiZ’s Facebook page and it coincided with the release of a new single titled Stop Trippin and it features iDA HAWK. It’s a smooth track as one would expect from GRiZ, and according to him it’s a track that we ought to enjoy. This is the second single from the album following the release of a A Fine Way To Die which is the lead single from the album and was released late last year.

This announcement is exciting because GRiZ’s music is unlike most electronic music available right now and so it will definitely be a breath of fresh air to listen to. It’s also exciting as it has been close to 2 years since GRiZ released a full length studio project and there are many fans out there who are hungry for his material. His last project Rebel Era came out in 2013. If the two singles are anything to go by the new album will be phenomenal. Very few artists are able to blend electronic sounds with live instruments as well as GRiZ does.

The young artist also took time to announce that he will be going on a world tour dubbed the Say It Loud World Tour which will see him perform 34 shows in Europe and all across the USA. The tour will kick off with the European leg on the 20th of February 2015. The USA leg will commence on the 1st of April 2015 and will run until the 15th of May where it will close off at the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama. His shows are especially interesting since he incorporates a lot of live elements into the shows, most notably his saxophone. Exmag, The Floozies, Muzzy Bearr, and Artifakts will be there to support him on the tour.

You can listen to both A Fine Way to Die and Say It Loud via GRiZ’s SoundCloud account below. Let us know what you think of the tracks and what you’re expecting from the new album. The entire list of tour dates (as well as the promotional poster) is also below and you can buy tickets for the shows via GRiZ’s website. Enjoy!
